Building for sustainability

Building homes that last means paying attention to energy and resource efficiency, durability of materials, tightness of construction, indoor air quality, and homeowner comfort – key aspects of green building.

On all of our jobsites, we recycle as much construction debris as possible.  Our projects have included a host of green building elements, including geothermal heating systems, solar electric and hot water systems, hydronic radiant heat, rainwater collection, reclaimed lumber, green roofs, and permeable concrete paving.

We are a member of the United States Green Building Council, which administers the LEED for Homes program, and of Washington State's Built Green program.
